Employment & Volunteer Opportunities

Thank you for your interest in working at the Tennessee Theatre. There are currently no full-time positions available. For information on part-time and volunteer opportunities, please see below.

Ushers

Ushers are an integral part of the Tennessee Theatre experience.

Our staff consists of 50 part-time ushers, and are hired on an as needed basis.  Please check our website often for orientation schedules. AT THIS TIME, ALL POSITIONS ARE FULL.

Usher applicants must be at least 18 years of age and eligible for employment in the United States.  A neat appearance and good communication skills are imperative.  Each usher is required to complete the Usher Orientation Class prior to ushering.  The Tennessee Theatre runs new training sessions as needed. Each session is two hours in length.  All applicants must pre-register before the event to be included.  Registration does not guarantee a spot on the usher corp.

To apply, please send an e-mail to Heather Seiber at hseiber@tennesseetheatre.com.  Please include the following information to be considered: Name, Address, Day and Evening Phone, E-mail address, available days/hours.

Volunteer Opportunities

We are always looking for friendly, enthusiastic volunteers to help us promote the many concerts and performing arts events at the Tennessee Theatre. Event promotion is a major cornerstone in the Theatre’s continued success.

Duties include hanging posters, staffing a booth at community events, handbilling at shows, and good, old-fashioned, word-of-mouth marketing.  It is a great, easy and fun way to support the historic Tennessee Theatre.

For more information and to apply, please contact Margaret Stolfi.
